Majola Memorial

The African Oprhans Project and supporting partners began a wonderful mission with the Lutheran Church of Southern Africa in 2006.  Pastor Senzo Majola was instrumental in the beginning of this project and in its success in helping the orphans of Shongweni village.     

On May 29, 2008 God called out of this life the soul of our dear brother in Christ, the Reverend Senzo Majola, pastor of Shongweni Lutheran Church, South Africa.  Pastor Majola, 39, was taken from the operation table to be with our Lord.  He had an enlarged physical heart, but the same can also be said of his heart of faith and love.  He had great and unselfish dreams of providing care for orphaned children and youth and leading them to our Lord Jesus Christ.

A memorial fund in honor of Pastor Majola has been established to support the continuation of building on his dreams - a community center in Shongweni village to provide child care and vocational education for the village of Shongweni.
